Different Day Same Outcome in Battle of the Shores Part 2

After two quarters of play the scoreboard displayed 30-0 with the RYCA Rockwall Jackets of Nebbie Elementary 6th Grade leading the 6th Grade Hartman Team.  Through 20 minutes of play, the RYCA Nebbie Jackets youth football team had already held the Hartman Jackets to negative yardage with several sacks, interceptions, and fumble recoveries giving Nebbie Jackets strong field position.

The final outcome was 42-18, but that was only because the Nebbie Jackets refused to run up the score, and practiced on new offensive and defensive plays.

Brendon Murray led all offensive players with over 100 yards in offense and Cody Rollins was unbeatable in the defensive backfield gaining 2 take-a-ways.

Typical Nebbie Jacket leaders, Tyler Ashworth, Tanner Webb, and Joseph Schaefer contributed strong plays despite only playing 2 quarters in the victory.

The RYCA Jackets Nebbie 6th Grade Team is 3-1 halfway through the season, and is starting to look at securing a playoff spot with 2 more victories.

Next up on the Nebbie Jackets schedule is the Heath Hawks of the HHCA football league, and the Jackets are ready!  They plan on taking their high scoring offense and run stopping defense to the field with Rockwall’s best fans cheering on.

1st Annual Hawaiian Falls RYCA Jackets Football Kick-off Party RE-Scheduled for August 16th

The make-up date for the Kick-off Party and the Presentation of the Rockwall RYCA JACKET “R” is Friday, August 16th at Hawaiian Falls located at 4550 N. Garland Ave in Garland, Texas.  The park will be open from 2 PM to 10 PM with the Football Kick-off Party starting around 6 PM.

This event is for the entire family, and you are welcome to purchase as many discount tickets as you need.  Even if you are unable to attend on August 16th, you can still take advantage of this heavily discounted ticket price for immediate use or anytime during the remaining 2013 Hawaiian Falls summer season!!

The RYCA Rockwall Jackets Football Kick-off Party is a time to celebrate the upcoming road to the championship.  All Rockwall Jacket fans and supporters are invited to attend.

This celebration will take place on Friday, August 16th at 4550 N. Garland Avenue in Garland, Texas 75040.  Feel free to enjoy the park as soon as the gates open, but the Football Kick-off Party begins at 6 PM.

The Rockwall Youth Football Jacket organization will be running the same plays as the high school preparing them for future Rockwall Jacket Football.  In addition to league games, the RYCA will be playing at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas as well as the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas.

Rockwall Jacket Football Sports a New Attitude

It’s a new day in Rockwall, and a new attitude for Rockwall’s premier youth football team.  Rockwall County boasts one of the largest organizations in North Texas run by the Rockwall Youth Community Athletics (RYCA) with over 300 registered players ready to hit the field representing their grade and school.

This is truly “Jacket Pride” at its finest.  The RYCA has a strong commitment to principles and strives to be a community-driven organization with the genuine participation of athletes, volunteers, parents, family members, teachers, school administrators and local businesses.

The RYCA will make every effort to make sure that every child with the desire to participate gets the opportunity to play or cheer, without financial costs, prior experience, athletic ability or size.  We are devoted to inspiriting our young athletes (kindergarten through 6th grade) and will give them the challenge of competition, the joy of victory, the reality of defeat, the importance of commitment and spirit in the community.  We believe these values and virtues are important to athletes’ growth and to them becoming active members of our community and society.
