Saturday was a big game between RYCA Rockwall Jackets teams in the Semi Finals. The loser would conclude the season and receive a 3rd place finish while the winner would earn the right to play the HHCA Heath Hawks in the finals on November 9th at Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium in Rockwall, Texas. These two 6th grade teams would battle all the way to the finish. Although both teams had big name stars like Zach Henry, Marshall Frost, Kade Klinkowsky, Drew Schultz (all for the Hays Jackets), and Tyler Ashworth, Joseph Schaefer, Cody Rollins, Tanner Webb, Chase Burkey (all for Nebbie Jackets); the game would be won on the line. The Nebbie Jackets football line was the more dominate line on this day led by Carson Routen. Carson played center for the Nebbie Jackets 6th grade team and controlled the line of scrimmage. He also filled in at defensive tackle making some important key stops. Carson Routen was awarded the Lineman of the Game!
