RYCA Youth Football Players participate in other activities besides crushing opponents from Heath. Rockwall Jacket Youth Football Players are required to be model students in the classroom and in the community. They also show their talents in other sports as well.

Joseph Schaefer suits up as #40 for the RYCA Nebbie Jackets where he plays running back and middle linebacker. He currently leads the team in tackles and is a key blocker for the Jackets Football 6th grade team from Rockwall Nebbie. However, during a break from football action; Schaefer put on the gold & black for the Forney Vipers Select Baseball Team.

This weekend Joseph played second base and outfield for the Forney ball club during the USSSA Forney Fall Bash Open Tournament. Usually, Joseph will play a football game on Saturday, and then travel to play baseball in the evening.

The Vipers beat the North Texas Heat 11-2 in the tournament championship game. Joseph went 4 for 5 hitting with two walks including a 2 RBI bases loaded single to help his team make the championship finals. He is currently batting .636 during the Fall while he is also playing football. This is the 2nd tournament of the Fall season that his baseball team has won during the football season.

Wednesday, Schaefer and his RYCA Rockwall Jackets Football team will take on the Hays Jackets also of the RYCA Premier Football League. After the battle for RYCA Football Supremacy, the RYCA Jackets will battle the HHCA Heath Hawks on Saturday at Rockwall High School.

Currently, the RYCA Rockwall Nebbie Jackets are in first place with only one loss over Heath Hawks who have the same record but with a loss to the RYCA Team. Needless to say, this will be a busy week for Schaefer as he looks to help bring home a Rockwall Jackets Championship.
