The RYCA Rockwall Jackets 6th Grade Nebbie Football team's Defense was completely dominating against the 6th Grade HHCA Heath Hawks blanking the team 33-0. The defense only gave up two first downs, but held the HHCA Heath Hawks to negative net yardage in the Monday Night Beat Down of their crosstown rivals.
Howie Morgenthaler was voted Defensive Player of the Game by his "Old Skool" play. A non-football injury jeopardized Howie from even suiting up, but playing against the Heath Hawks is motivation enough for all true Rockwall Jacket Football Players. Howie held down the defensive line making several solo tackles and assisting on several others.
Other notable Defensive players were Jaxon Rife, Zach Elsey, Brendon Murray, Tyler Ashworth, and Joseph Schaefer.
One thing is for sure; the HHCA Heath Hawks will be sore for Tuesday's school day.
