The 6th Grade Nebbie RYCA Jackets defeated the Hartman Jackets during the "Battle of the Shores- Part 2" Saturday in Rockwall, Texas.


With the defense scoring two touchdowns, causing 4 fumbles, intercepting the ball twice, and holding the Hartman Jackets to negative yardage through the first half; the game was out of reach very early for the Hartman Jackets football team.


Both teams play in the Grade and School Pure Youth Football League and will join forces next year at Williams Middle School. However, Saturday was a day that gave a team bragging rights throughout the Shores Neighborhood. This was the second game in which the Nebbie 6th Grade football team put up over 40 points against the Hartman Jackets. However, the Hartman Jackets did score a defensive touchdown on a 90 yard interception as well as two more scores when the game was already out of hand.


The Nebbie Jackets 6th Grade Football Team of Rockwall, Texas has improved its record to 3-1 and looks to control their playoff destiny with two more victories. Their next game will be against the Heath Hawks of the HHCA Football League.
