Games played in Cowboys Stadium are in an exhibition format – all games are a 30 minute running clock and are played from the 40 yard line to the end zone. This format allows every parent to see their child on the most famous football field in the world and on the largest HD screen. After each game, all teams have the opportunity to have taken their team picture on the famous Star.
August 22nd through August 25th, Rockwall’s largest and ONLY premier youth football organization endorsed by Rockwall Jackets High School Varsity Head Coach Rodney Webb will take the field where NFL greats make a living on Sundays. This is an event you will not want to miss, and one of the most talked about experiences in all of Rockwall County.
This is truly “Jacket Pride” at its finest. The RYCA has a strong commitment to principles and strives to be a community-driven organization with the genuine participation of athletes, volunteers, parents, family members, teachers, school administrators and local businesses.
The RYCA will make every effort to make sure that every child with the desire to participate gets the opportunity to play or cheer, without financial costs, prior experience, athletic ability or size. We are devoted to inspiriting our young athletes (kindergarten through 6th grade) and will give them the challenge of competition, the joy of victory, the reality of defeat, the importance of commitment and spirit in the community. We believe these values and virtues are important to athletes’ growth and to them becoming active members of our community and society.
Rockwall Jacket Youth Football is the only program that is vertically aligned with Rockwall High School according to Varsity High School Coach Rodney Webb. For more information about the league visit www.leaguelineup.com/ryca or follow your favorite team on Facebook.
