RYCA Ushers in a New Era

This is an exciting time to be part of the RYCA Rockwall Youth Community Athletics organization as we are no longer affiliated with the YMCA. We reorganized our RYCA board to ensure we are positioned for continued success as board members and volunteers move on to middle school. We are also launching our new RYCA Youth Sports website at http://rycayouthsports.com. All future RYCA announcements and organizational collateral will be located there.

 For the Fall 2014 Season you will not register through the YMCA.  You will register on our website http://rycayouthsports.com.  There will be a link to sign up for Fall 2014 Football and Cheer.  As you register your child you can also sign up to be a coach, asst. coach, team mom or volunteer.  If you sign up to be one of the above, upon check out you will be redirected to a background check form.  Everyone involved with the kids will also need to have background checks to ensure the safety of all kids within the RYCA. All eligible RYCA coaches who coached last year will be returning including new coaches with teams because of the huge interest. If you want to coach, let us know ASAP because we will have training classes to get you certified. 

We have the full support from Coach Reeves and the RISD coaches on helping us provide another great and successful season. We will work with the RISD and will play on the same fields as last year. All RYCA coaches will be safety certified and attend a coaching clinic put on by the Rockwall HS coaching staff.
